His passion for outdoor activities began in high school through hiking and camping. In the late 90s, he developed a serious interest in rafting after joining his college’s outdoor student club. Valuable experiences came early as he participated in rafting expeditions alongside his seniors. He later became a tour guide in his homeland of North Sulawesi, promoting the region's rugged volcanic mountains. This marked the beginning of his journey as a mountain guide. A significant milestone was achieved in 2008 when he was invited to serve as an assistant guide for a Carstensz expedition. Since then, he has completed 54 summits out of 58 entrusted expeditions. This extensive experience became the foundation for Terra Adventures, a venture born from reuniting with Mario after more than 20 years. [email protected]
